You hear the word “Lowcountry” a lot but where exactly is that?
The South Carolina Lowcountry is the southern, easternmost area of the Palmetto State and covers twelve counties. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry are currently in two of those 12 counties: Beaufort and Jasper! We have 9 locations across those 2 counties. Two of these locations are physical, independent buildings (Hilton Head and Bluffton) and the other 7 locations operate within local schools.
