The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry is pleased to welcome Mandy Parsons as President & Chief Executive Officer. Mandy has 22 years of experience with non-profits including most recently interim CEO, acting COO, and acting CFO at United Way of the Coastal Empire.

At United Way of Coastal Empire, Parsons spearheaded strategic planning initiatives, streamlined operational processes, and diversified revenue streams – all significantly improving the organization's financial health and operational efficiency. Her collaborative approach and strong relationship-building skills have been instrumental in aligning organizational missions with community expectations and strengthening the organization's image. Throughout her distinguished career, Mandy has been recognized for her ability to drive organizational growth, enhance cultures, and execute transformative changes.

Prior to her work at United Way of Coastal Empire, Parsons was a Senior Manager and Area Director for the American Cancer Society in Savannah and in development for a private school in Kentucky. Parsons was also an executive director at a community center, which provided a plethora of services to the county it served.

“We’re beyond excited to welcome Mandy on board at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry, says Mollie Sandman, Vice President of the Lowcountry Board of Directors. “Mandy has a wealth of experience and a passion for the organization that will help us reach more kids and teens, especially the ones that need us the most. There’s a lot of great work to be done and we believe she’s up to the task!

"I'm honored to join the Boys and Girls Club of the Lowcountry, an organization that has had a profound impact on our community. I'm committed to building on its legacy, ensuring every child who needs us most has the opportunity to thrive."

Outside of her professional endeavors, Mandy is an active volunteer and community member. Her newest service includes joining the Savannah Book Festival board, which aligns perfectly with her favorite hobby of reading.  She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach with her family, watching Kentucky basketball, and simply hanging out in the yard with her dog.

Mandy is excited to leverage her expertise to drive innovation, achieve impactful results, and contribute to the growth and development of the community she calls home.
